At age 5 a kindergarten classmate brought a standard grey poodle to show and tell.
I instinctively knew what the dog was thinking and went home pleading for a dog. When I finally adopted a puppy, animal communication and understanding my dog came easily. My dog and I trusted and understood each other through a mix of doggie body language, eye movements, vocalizing and telepathy.
I started dog training at age 8 and we won the blue ribbon in dog obedience, competing against
adults at the county fair. As an adult I earned the Pet Partner's Animal Assisted Therapy Team certification and worked with my adopted Black Labrador Sam (also a Canine Good Citizen) in hospitals and a traumatic injury rehab center. Teaming with physicians, therapists and patients was all part of our work. Sam and I had an easy understanding and were even included in a PBS special about therapy and service dogs.
Years of fostering, plus working as a dog and adoptive home evaluator AND ongoing training in Animal Communication AND my research projects in Intuitive Interspecies Communication further contribute to my intuitive abilities and experience understanding what dogs are thinking and feeling, assessing their situations at home, while working, and in needing to thrive in a variety of environments with a diverse group of people and animals.
Conversing and receiving messages from animals trusting me as they share their thoughts, feelings and experiences continues to influence my advocacy work for pets. My animal communication chat sessions, whether private dog talk sessions or shared via Podcast or YouTube, help maintain my understanding of the different ways people receive messages from animals, hones my abilities to access, share and interpret dog talk, and allows me to expand my work supporting both animal and human clients.
Whether you want to understand your pets better, work with animals and help them thrive, or just curious about interspecies communication, let's connect. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like if your dogs could talk, or what they would say, I can find out or help you learn. My mission is sharing my intuitive abilities and teaching experience to support dogs and humans live happy, holistic, connected lives together in healthy community.
